श्रीसमृद्धं तदा दृष्टवा नारदं देवरूपिणम्‌ | सुकुमारी प्रदुद्राव परपत्यभिशड्कया

śrīsamṛddhaṃ tadā dṛṣṭvā nāradaṃ devarūpiṇam | sukumārī pradudrāva parapathyabhiśaṅkayā |

เมื่อสนทนากันดังนี้ ฤๅษีทั้งสองก็ถอนคำสาปของกันและกันได้ ครั้นแล้วสุกุมารีเห็นนารทผู้รุ่งเรืองผ่องใสดุจเทพ จึงวิ่งหนีไปทันที ด้วยความระแวงว่าเขาอาจเป็นสามีของหญิงอื่น
