कृताञ्जलिमुपासीनं दीनं दीनतर: स्वयम् | नारदजीने देखा, पर्वत दीनभावसे हाथ जोड़कर मेरे पास खड़ा है; फिर तो वे स्वयं भी अत्यन्त दीन होकर उनसे बोले--
kṛtāñjalim upāsīnaṃ dīnaṃ dīnataras svayam |
ข้าพเจ้าเห็นปารวตะนั่งอยู่ด้วยประนมมือ มีความอ่อนน้อมและทุกข์ใจอยู่แล้ว; ครั้นนั้นข้าพเจ้าเองก็ยิ่งถ่อมตนลง แล้วจึงกล่าวกับเขา.
