ब्रह्मोवाच भवतोड<पि सुरा: सर्वे भागं दास्यन्ति वै प्रभो । क्रियतां प्रतिसंहार: सर्वदेवेश्वर त्वया,ब्रद्माजी बोले--सर्वदेवेश्वर! प्रभो! अब आप अपने बढ़े हुए उस क्रोधको शान्त कीजिये। आजसे सब देवता आपको भी यज्ञका भाग दिया करेंगे
brahmovāca bhavato 'pi surāḥ sarve bhāgaṃ dāsyanti vai prabho | kriyatāṃ pratisaṃhāraḥ sarvadeveśvara tvayā ||
พรหมาตรัสว่า “ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นเจ้า นับแต่นี้เหล่าเทพทั้งปวงจักถวายส่วนแห่งยัญแก่พระองค์ด้วยแน่นอน โอ้ผู้เป็นใหญ่เหนือเทพทั้งสิ้น ขอพระองค์ทรงยับยั้งและถอนคืนพระพิโรธที่กำลังพองโตนั้นเถิด”
