फिर तो दुन्दुभियाँ, जोर-जोरसे बजनेवाले शंख, ढोल और नगाड़े आदि सहस्रों बाजे बजाये जाने लगे ।। असुराणां तु सर्वेषां स्मृतिलोपो महानभूत् | मायानाशश्व बलवान् क्षणेन समपद्यत,समस्त असुरोंकी स्मरण-शक्तिका बड़ा भारी लोप हो गया। क्षणभरमें उनकी सारी मायाओंका पूर्णरूपसे विनाश हो गया
asurāṇāṃ tu sarveṣāṃ smṛtilopo mahān abhūt | māyānāśaś ca balavān kṣaṇena samapadyata ||
ครั้นแล้วกลองทุณฑุภี สังข์ที่เป่ากึกก้อง กลองและกลองศึกฑิณฑิมะเป็นพัน ๆ ก็ประโคมขึ้น. ครานั้นอสูรทั้งปวงถึงความเสื่อมสูญแห่งสติความจำอย่างใหญ่หลวง; และในชั่วขณะเดียว มายาทั้งสิ้นของพวกเขาก็พินาศสิ้นโดยกำลังอันรุนแรง
