कामलोभानुबन्धेन पुरा ते यदसूयितम्‌ । मया स्नेहमविज्ञाय तत्र मे क्षन्तुमहसि

Transliteration

kāmalobhānubandhena purā te yad asūyitam | mayā sneham avijñāya tatra me kṣantum arhasi ||

Translation

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—ก่อนหน้านี้ ด้วยความพัวพันแห่งกามและโลภะ เราได้กล่าวถ้อยคำด้วยความริษยาต่อท่าน โดยมิได้รู้เท่าทันความรักที่แฝงอยู่ในนั้น; ด้วยเหตุแห่งความผิดนั้น ท่านพึงให้อภัยแก่เรา
