यस्मादुद्धिजते लोक: सर्पाद्‌ वेश्मगतादिव । न स धर्ममवाप्रोति इहलोके परत्र च,घरके भीतर रहनेवाले सर्पके समान जिस पुरुषसे सब लोग भयभीत रहते हैं, वह इहलोक और परलोकमें भी कभी धर्मके फलको नहीं पाता

yasmād uddvijate lokaḥ sarpād veśmagatād iva | na sa dharmam avāpnoti ihaloke paratra ca ||

ทูลาธารกล่าวว่า “บุรุษผู้ซึ่งผู้คนหวาดผวาและถอยหนี—ดุจงูที่เลื้อยเข้าเรือน—ย่อมไม่อาจบรรลุผลแห่งธรรมได้เลย ทั้งในโลกนี้และโลกหน้า”

Educational Q&A
