अपन क्राता छा अर: चतुर्विशो$ध्याय: व्यासजीका युधिष्ठिरको राजा हयग्रीवका चरित्र सुनाकर उन्हें राजोचित कर्तव्यका पालन करनेके लिये जोर देना वैशम्पायन उवाच पुनरेव महर्षिस्तं कृष्णद्वैपायनो मुनि: । अजातशत्रुं कौन्तेयमिदं वचनमब्रवीत्‌,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! श्रीकृष्णद्वैपायन महर्षि व्यासजीने अजातशत्रु कुन्तीकुमार युधिष्ठिरसे पुन: इस प्रकार कहा--

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: punar eva maharṣis taṃ kṛṣṇadvaipāyano muniḥ | ajātaśatruṃ kaunteyam idaṃ vacanam abravīt ||

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “แล้วอีกครั้งหนึ่ง มหาฤๅษีกฤษณทไวปายนะ (วยาส) ได้กล่าวถ้อยคำนี้แก่ อชาตศัตรู กุนตีบุตร ยุธิษฐิระ”
