लोकस्य विविध॑ चित्त प्रेक्षते चाप्यकुत्सयन् । संसर्गविद्याकुशलस्तस्मात् सर्वत्र पूजित:,नारदजी लोगोंकी नाना प्रकारकी चित्तवृत्तिको देखते और समझते हैं। फिर भी किसीकी निन्दा नहीं करते। किसका संसर्ग कैसा है? इसके ज्ञानमें वे बड़े निपुण हैं; इसीलिये वे सर्वत्र पूजित होते हैं
lokasya vividha-cittaṁ prekṣate cāpy akutsayan | saṁsarga-vidyā-kuśalas tasmāt sarvatra pūjitaḥ ||
เขาสังเกตและเข้าใจสภาพจิตอันหลากหลายของผู้คน แต่ไม่ดูหมิ่นผู้ใด เขาชำนาญในวิชาว่าด้วยการคบหา—ว่าความสัมพันธ์และการคลุกคลีหล่อหลอมคนอย่างไร; เพราะเหตุนั้นเขาจึงเป็นที่บูชาทั่วทุกแห่ง
