साहं वै पड़कजे जाता सूर्यरश्मिविबोधिते । भूत्यर्थ सर्वभूतानां पद्मा श्री: पच्ममालिनी,मैं समस्त प्राणियोंको ऐश्वर्य प्रदान करनेके लिये सूर्यकी किरणोंके तापसे खिले हुए कमलनमें प्रकट हुई हूँ। मेरा नाम पद्मा, श्री और पद्ममालिनी है
śakra uvāca | sāhaṃ vai paṅkaje jātā sūryaraśmivibodhitē | bhūtyarthaṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ padmā śrīḥ padmamālinī ||
ศักระตรัสว่า— “เราบังเกิดขึ้นในดอกบัว อันแย้มบานด้วยรัศมีแห่งสุริยะ เพื่อความเจริญรุ่งเรืองและสวัสดิภาพของสรรพสัตว์ เราจึงปรากฏ; นามของเราคือ ปัทมา ศรี และปัทมมาลินี”
