सर्वे समरमासाद्य न श्रूयन्ते पराजिता: । सर्वे सत्यव्रतपरा: सर्वे कामविहारिण:,वे सब लोग समराजड्रणमें पहुँचकर कभी पराजित होते नहीं सुने गये थे। सभी सत्यव्रतका पालन करनेमें तत्पर और इच्छानुसार विहार करनेवाले थे

sarve samaram āsādya na śrūyante parājitāḥ | sarve satyavrataparāḥ sarve kāmavihāriṇaḥ ||

กษัตริย์เหล่านั้นทั้งปวง เมื่อเข้าสู่สนามรบแล้ว ไม่เคยมีผู้ใดได้ยินว่าแพ้พ่ายเลย ทุกพระองค์ยึดมั่นในสัตย์ปฏิญาณ และทุกพระองค์ดำเนินชีวิตและเคลื่อนไหวตามความปรารถนาอันชอบธรรม—เป็นไท ไม่ถูกผูกมัด และทรงสำรวมตน
