मर्त्यलोकाद् विमुच्यन्ते विद्यासंसक्तचेतस: । ब्रह्म भूता विरजसस्ततो यान्ति परां गतिम्,जिनका मन ज्ञानके साधनमें लगा हुआ है, वे मर्त्यलोकके बन्धनसे छूट जाते हैं और रजोगुणसे रहित एवं ब्रह्मस्वरूप हो परम गतिको प्राप्त कर लेते हैं
martyalokād vimucyante vidyāsaṁsaktacetasaḥ | brahmabhūtā virajasas tato yānti parāṁ gatim ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า ผู้ที่จิตแนบแน่นอยู่กับวิถีแห่งวิทยา ย่อมหลุดพ้นจากพันธนาการแห่งโลกมนุษย์ ครั้นเป็นผู้ไร้ธุลีแห่งรชัส และตั้งมั่นเป็นพรหมันแล้ว จึงไปถึงคติอันสูงสุด

Liberation is attained by those whose minds are steadily absorbed in the pursuit and practice of liberating knowledge (vidyā). Such seekers become free from rajas (passionate agitation), abide in Brahman, and reach the supreme goal (parā gati).
