अध्याय २०८ — इन्द्रियनिग्रहः, सत्याहिंसात्मकवाक्, कर्मफलविवेकः
Restraint of the Senses, Non-harming Truthful Speech, and Discernment of Karmic Consequence
सावित्रश्न॒ जयन्तश्न॒ पिनाकी चापराजित: । पूर्वमेव महाभागा वसवोड ष्टौ प्रकीर्तिता:,अजैकपाद, अहिर्बुध्न्य, विरूपाक्ष, रैवत, हर, बहुरूप, त्र्यम्बक, सुरेश्वर, सावित्र, जयन्त, पिनाकी और अपराजित--ये ग्यारह रुद्र हैं। महाभाग आठ वसुओंके नाम पहले ही बताये गये हैं
sāvitraś ca jayantaś ca pinākī cāparājitaḥ | pūrvam eva mahābhāgā vasavo 'ṣṭau prakīrtitāḥ ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “สาวิตระ ชยันตะ พินากี และอปราชิต—ท่านเหล่านี้ก็ถูกขานนามไว้ (ในหมู่รุทระ) และโอ้ท่านผู้ประเสริฐ วสุทั้งแปดได้ถูกแจกแจงไว้ก่อนแล้ว”
