अध्याय २०८ — इन्द्रियनिग्रहः, सत्याहिंसात्मकवाक्, कर्मफलविवेकः
Restraint of the Senses, Non-harming Truthful Speech, and Discernment of Karmic Consequence
अर्यमा चैव भगवान् ये चास्य तनया विभो । एते प्रदेशा: कथिता भुवनानां प्रभावना:,प्रभो! भगवान् अर्यमा और उनके सभी पुत्र--ये प्रदेश (आदेश देनेवाले शासक) तथा प्रभावन (उत्तम स्रष्टा) कहे गये हैं
aryamā caiva bhagavān ye cāsya tanayā vibho | ete pradeśāḥ kathitā bhuvanānāṃ prabhāvanāḥ prabho ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—“อารยมัน เทพผู้ควรบูชา และบุตรทั้งหลายของท่าน—โอผู้ทรงเดช—ได้ถูกประกาศว่าเป็น ‘ประเทศะ’ คือผู้ปกครองผู้มีอำนาจ และเป็น ‘ประภาวนะ’ คือผู้เกื้อหนุนเสริมกำลังแก่โลกทั้งหลาย”
