राजोवाच दीयमानं न गृह्नलासि ऋणं कस्मात्‌ त्वमद्य वै | यथैव ते<भ्यनुज्ञातं तथा गृह्लीष्व मा चिरम्‌,राजाने कहा--विकृत! जब विरूप तुम्हें तुम्हारा दिया हुआ ऋण लौटा रहा है, तब तुम उसे आज ग्रहण क्यों नहीं करते? जैसे इसने तुम्हारी दी हुई वस्तु स्वीकार कर ली थी, उसी प्रकार तुम भी इसकी दी हुई वस्तुको ले लो। विलम्ब न करो

Transliteration

rājovāca—dīyamānaṁ na gṛhṇāsi ṛṇaṁ kasmāt tvam adya vai | yathaiva te 'bhyanujñātaṁ tathā gṛhlīṣva mā ciram ||

Translation

พระราชาตรัสว่า “เหตุไฉนเจ้าจึงไม่รับหนี้ที่เขากำลังชดใช้แก่เจ้าในวันนี้? ดังที่ครั้งก่อนเจ้าเคยยินยอมรับสิ่งที่เขามอบให้ ฉันใด บัดนี้จงรับสิ่งที่เขามอบให้อีกฉันนั้น อย่าชักช้า”
