Jāpakānāṃ Gatiḥ — The Destinies of Japa-Practitioners (Śānti Parva 12.190)
भगुरुवाच जातकमदिभिर्यस्तु संस्कारै: संस्कृत: शुचि: । वेदाध्ययनसम्पन्न: षट्सु कर्मस्ववस्थित:
bhagur uvāca—jātakarmādibhir yas tu saṃskāraiḥ saṃskṛtaḥ śuciḥ | vedādhyayanasampannaḥ ṣaṭsu karmasv avasthitaḥ ||
ภฤคุกล่าวว่า “ผู้ใดได้รับการขัดเกลาด้วยสังสการทั้งหลาย เริ่มแต่พิธีกรรมแห่งการเกิด เป็นผู้บริสุทธิ์ในความประพฤติ สมบูรณ์ด้วยการศึกษาพระเวท และตั้งมั่นอยู่ในกิจหกประการที่กำหนดไว้ ผู้นั้นพึงรู้ว่าเป็นพราหมณ์”
