अग्नि: पवनसंयुक्तः खं समाक्षिपते जलम् | सोडग्निमारुतसंयोगाद् घनत्वमुपपद्यते,“वायुका संयोग पाकर अग्नि जलको आकाशमें उछालने लगी; फिर वही जल अग्नि और वायुके संयोगसे घनीभूत हो गया
agniḥ pavanasaṃyuktaḥ khaṃ samākṣipate jalam | so 'gnimārutasaṃyogād ghanatvam upapadyate |
เมื่อไฟประกอบกับลม ก็เหวี่ยงน้ำขึ้นสู่ท้องฟ้า; และน้ำนั้นเอง ด้วยการประสานของไฟและลม จึงควบแน่นกลายเป็นมวลหนาทึบ
