Adhyāya 180: Jīva, Śarīra, and the Fire Analogy (भृगु–भरद्वाज संवादः)
भीष्म उवाच अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । प्रह्मादस्यथ च संवादं मुनेराजगरस्य च
bhīṣma uvāca | atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṁ purātanam | prahlādasya tathā ca saṁvādaṁ muner ajagarasya ca ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา ในเรื่องนี้ก็มีตัวอย่างจากตำนานโบราณยกขึ้นกล่าว คือบทสนทนาระหว่างปรหลาทกับฤๅษีผู้ดำรง ‘วิถีอาชคร’ ดุจงูเหลือม—อยู่นิ่ง รับสิ่งที่มาถึงโดยไม่ดิ้นรน”
