यजस्व वाजिमेधेन विधिवद्‌ दक्षिणावता । वयं ते किंकरा: पार्थ वासुदेवश्च वीर्यवान्‌

Transliteration

yajasva vājimedhena vidhivad dakṣiṇāvatā | vayaṁ te kiṅkarāḥ pārtha vāsudevaś ca vīryavān |

Translation

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “โอรสแห่งกุนตี จงประกอบอัศวเมธยัญตามพิธีโดยครบถ้วน พร้อมถวายทักษิณาแก่พราหมณ์ผู้ประกอบพิธีให้สมควร เฮ ปารถะ พวกเราทั้งปวงเป็นผู้รับใช้ของท่าน และวาสุเทวผู้ทรงเดชก็พร้อมปฏิบัติตามพระบัญชาของท่าน”
