Educational Q&A

Do not be consumed by grief over the moral ambiguity of political power; instead, stabilize the mind, accept what has come, and uphold dharma through rightful enjoyment and the performance of yajña (social-religious duty).

Arjuna addresses another party about the acquisition of kingship, arguing that whether sovereignty was obtained through righteous means or not, lamentation is unproductive; one should proceed by living responsibly and maintaining dharmic order through sacrifice and duty.
