कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च

नैव निम्नं स्थलं वापि सो$5विन्दत विहड़हा । पूरितो हि जलौघेन तस्य मार्गो वनस्य च,वनका मार्ग जिसपर वह चलता था, जलके प्रवाहमें डूब गया था। उस बहेलियेको नीची-ऊँची भूमिका कुछ पता नहीं चलता था
naiva nimnaṃ sthalaṃ vāpi so 'vindata vihaṅgamaḥ | pūrito hi jalaughena tasya mārgo vanasya ca ||
นายดักนกนั้นไม่อาจแยกได้เลยว่าที่ใดต่ำหรือที่ใดสูง เพราะกระแสน้ำหลากได้ท่วมทับเส้นทางที่เขาเดิน รวมทั้งทางในป่าทั้งปวงจนจมหาย
