कपोत-लुब्धकसंवादः — Hunter’s Remorse and Renunciatory Resolve

ज्ञानमप्यपदिश्यं हि यथा नास्ति तथैव तत्‌ । त॑ तथा छिन्नमूलेन सन्नोदयितुमरहसि,जो संशयात्मक ज्ञान है, उसका होना और न होना बराबर है; अतः तुम उस संशयका मूलोच्छेद करके उसे दूर हटा दो (संशयरहित ज्ञानका आश्रय लो)

jñānam apy apadiśyaṃ hi yathā nāsti tathaiva tat | tathā chinnamūlena saṃnodayitum arhasi |

แม้สิ่งที่เรียกว่า ‘ความรู้’ หากเป็นความรู้ที่ปนด้วยความสงสัย ก็ไม่ต่างจากความไม่รู้เลย ฉะนั้นพึงตัดความสงสัยเสียให้ถึงราก ถอนมันออกไป แล้วอาศัยความรู้ที่ปราศจากความคลางแคลง
