Śaraṇāgata-Atithi-Dharma in the Kapota Narrative (कपोत-आख्यानम्—शरणागतधर्मः)
बलवन्तं करिष्यामि प्रणोत्स्याम्पशुभानि तु । तपोभिर्विद्यया चैव ज्योतींषीव महत्तम:,'जैसे सूर्य आदि ज्योतिर्मय ग्रह महान् अन्धकारका नाश कर देते है, उसी प्रकार मैं पुनः तप और विद्याद्वारा जब अपने-आपको सबल कर लूँगा, तब सारे अशुभ कर्मोंका नाश कर डालूँगा'
balavantaṁ kariṣyāmi praṇotsyām apāśubhāni tu | tapobhir vidyayā caiva jyotīṁṣīva mahattamaḥ ||
“เราจักทำตนให้กลับมามีกำลังอีกครั้ง และจักขับไล่ความอัปมงคลทั้งปวง. ด้วยตบะและด้วยวิทยา เราจักทำลายกรรมชั่ว—ดุจดวงอาทิตย์และหมู่ดาวสว่างอันยิ่งใหญ่ขจัดความมืดฉะนั้น.”
