samāhitakaś cared yuktyā kṛtārthaś ca na viśvaset | na viśvased aviśvaste viśvaste nātiviśvaset ||
โลมศะกล่าวว่า “บุรุษพึงสำรวมใจ แล้วดำเนินด้วยอุบายอันรอบคอบ; ครั้นกิจสำเร็จแล้ว อย่าได้ไว้วางใจศัตรู. ผู้ไม่น่าไว้วางใจอย่าได้ไว้วางใจ; แม้ผู้ดูเหมือนน่าไว้วางใจก็อย่าได้ไว้วางใจจนเกินควร.”
