माजरि व्रीडितो भूत्वा मूषिकं वाक्यमब्रवीत्,पलितने जब इस प्रकार स्पष्टरूपसे कड़ी फटकार सुनायी, तब बिलावने लज्जित होकर पुनः उस चूहेसे इस प्रकार कहा
Mārjāri vrīḍito bhūtvā mūṣikaṁ vākyam abravīt.
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—เมื่อแมวถูกตำหนิอย่างเปิดเผย ชัดแจ้ง และรุนแรง มันก็เกิดความละอาย ครั้นตั้งสติได้แล้ว จึงกล่าวกับหนูอีกครั้งดังนี้
