बलेन महता गुप्त: सामात्य: सावरोधन: । मृगस्तु विद्धो बाणेन मया सरति शल्यवान्
balena mahatā guptaḥ sāmātyaḥ sāvarodhanaḥ | mṛgas tu viddho bāṇena mayā sarati śalyavān ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “เรามีกองกำลังใหญ่คุ้มกัน เดินทางพร้อมเหล่าอำมาตย์และฝ่ายใน แต่กวางตัวหนึ่งที่เรายิงด้วยลูกศรกลับหนีจากที่นี่ไป ทั้งยังมีลูกศรปักคาอยู่ในกาย”
