Transliteration

dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | sopāyaṁ pūrvam uddiṣṭaṁ prahrādena mahātmanā | saṁkṣepeṇa tu śīlasya śṛṇu prāptiṁ nareśvara |

Translation

ธฤตราษฏระกล่าวว่า “โอ้พระราชา ธรรมชาติของศีลและวิธีบรรลุศีลนั้น มหาตมะปรหฺลาดได้อธิบายไว้ก่อนแล้ว บัดนี้จงฟังจากเราโดยย่อถึงหนทางปฏิบัติที่จะได้มาซึ่งศีล”
