वार्तिकांश्षाब्रवीद् राजा पुत्रस्ते सत्यविक्रम:
sañjaya uvāca |
vārtikāṁś cābravīd rājā putras te satyavikramaḥ |
pṛṣṭhato 'nugamiṣyāmi sārthahīno yathādhvagaḥ ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า ครั้นแล้วพระราชา—โอรสของท่านผู้มั่นคงในวีรกรรมอันสัตย์จริง—ตรัสว่า “เราจักตามเขาไปดุจผู้เดินทางที่พลัดจากกองคาราวาน เหลือเดียวดายอยู่เบื้องหลัง”
