अधर्मेण जयं लब्ध्वा को नु हृष्येत पण्डित:
Transliteration
adharmeṇa jayaṁ labdhvā ko nu hṛṣyet paṇḍitaḥ
Translation
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “เมื่อได้ชัยชนะด้วยอธรรมแล้ว ปราชญ์ผู้ใดเล่าจะยินดีอย่างแท้จริง? สำหรับผู้รู้ธรรมและผลแห่งกรรม ชัยชนะที่เกิดจากอธรรมย่อมไม่อาจเป็นเหตุแห่งความอิ่มเอมแท้ได้”
