गुरुपुत्रो5द्य सर्वेषामस्माकं परमा गति: । भवांस्तस्मान्नियोगात्ते को<स्तु सेनापतिर्मम
sañjaya uvāca | guruputro 'dya sarveṣām asmākaṁ paramā gatiḥ | bhavāṁs tasmān niyogāt te ko 'stu senāpatir mama ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “โอ บุตรแห่งอาจารย์ของเรา วันนี้ท่านคือที่พึ่งสูงสุดของพวกเราทั้งปวง เพราะฉะนั้นตามบัญชาของท่าน ข้าปรารถนาจะแต่งตั้งแม่ทัพใหญ่ จงบอกมา—บัดนี้ผู้ใดควรเป็นแม่ทัพของเรา ผู้ซึ่งเราจะยกไว้เบื้องหน้า เพื่อให้พวกเราทั้งหมดรวมกำลังกันในศึกและมีชัยเหนือปาณฑพ?”
