अभिद्रवणमाक्षेपमवस्थानं सविग्रहम् । परिवर्तनसंवर्तमवप्लुतमुपप्लुतम्
abhidravāṇam ākṣepam avasthānaṁ savigraham | parivartana-saṁvartaṁ avaplutaṁ upaplutaṁ |
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—พวกเขาผันเปลี่ยนกลยุทธ์ไม่หยุด: บ้างพุ่งเข้าหากันด้วยแรงเร็ว บ้างฟาดและพยายามโค่นล้ม บ้างยืนมั่นต้านทานอย่างองอาจ; ครั้นศัตรูที่ล้มลงลุกขึ้น ก็กลับเข้าประจัญบานอีกครั้ง บ้างวนหาช่องเพื่อฟันตี บ้างสกัดการรุกของอีกฝ่าย บ้างก้มหลบให้คมกระหน่ำสูญเปล่า บ้างกระโดดและพุ่งตัวเข้าใกล้ บ้างเข้าประชิดแล้วฟาดด้วยคทา และบ้างหันกลับแล้วตีด้วยแรงเหวี่ยงแขนย้อนหลัง ทั้งสองล้วนชำนาญคทายุทธ์ จึงเปลี่ยนท่าพลิกแพลงแล้วทำร้ายกันครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า
