ครั้นแล้วมหาเทพตรัสว่า “โอ้สตรีผู้มีพรตอันงาม จงปรุงผลพุทราเหล่านี้เถิด” ครั้นได้สดับพระบัญชา อรุณธตีผู้มีเกียรติยศ ปรารถนาจะยังพราหมณ์ให้ยินดี จึงวางผลพุทราลงบนไฟที่ลุกโชนแล้วเริ่มคั่วปรุง
