Kārttikeya-Abhiṣecana: Mātṛgaṇa-Nāma Saṃkīrtana and Skanda’s Commission

सुवर्चसं महात्मानं तथैवाप्यतिवर्चसम्‌,रुद्रर्वसुभिरादित्यैरश्विभ्यां च वृतः प्रभु: । महापराक्रमी इन्द्र और विष्णु, सूर्य और चन्द्रमा, धाता और विधाता, वायु और अग्नि, पूषा, भग, अर्यमा, अंश, विवस्वान्‌ू, मित्र और वरुणके साथ बुद्धिमान्‌ रुद्रदेव, एकादश रुद्रणण, आठ वसु, बारह आदित्य और दोनों अश्विनीकुमार--ये सब-के-सब प्रभावशाली कुमार कार्तिकेयको घेरकर खड़े हुए

suvarcasaṃ mahātmānaṃ tathaivāpy ativarcasaṃ rudrair vasubhir ādityair aśvibhyāṃ ca vṛtaḥ prabhuḥ |
