हतवीरा यथा नारी साभवद्‌ दु:खिता भृशम्‌ | ब्रूहि किं करवाणीति प्रोवाच मुनिसत्तमम्‌,जिसका पति मारा गया हो उस विधवा नारीके समान वह अत्यन्त दुःखी हो गयी और उन मुनिश्रेष्ठसे बोली--'प्रभो! बताइये, मैं आपकी किस आज्ञाका पालन करूँ?”

hatavīrā yathā nārī sābhavad duḥkhitā bhṛśam | brūhi kiṁ karavāṇīti provāca munisattamam ||

นางทุกข์ระทมยิ่งดุจสตรีผู้สูญเสียสามี แล้วกราบทูลฤๅษีผู้ประเสริฐว่า “ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นเจ้า โปรดบอกเถิด ข้าพเจ้าควรทำสิ่งใด และควรปฏิบัติตามบัญชาข้อใดของท่าน”
