तपसा तु तथा युक्त विश्वामित्रं पितामह:
tapasā tu tathā yuktaṃ viśvāmitraṃ pitāmahaḥ
ครั้นนั้น ปิตามหะทอดพระเนตรวิศวามิตรผู้ประกอบด้วยตบะดังนั้น จึงทรงยอมรับพลังแห่งตบะของเขา
वैशग्पायन उवाच
Austerity (tapas) and disciplined self-effort can confer real potency and recognition; ethical strength is not only inherited or granted, but also cultivated through sustained practice.
