अध्याय ४ — दुर्योधनस्य असंधि-निश्चयः
Duryodhana’s Refusal of Reconciliation
जयद्रथो हतो राजन् कि नु शेषमुपास्महे | को हीह स पुमानस्ति यो विजेष्यति पाण्डवम्
jayadratho hato rājan ki nu śeṣam upāsmāhe | ko hīha sa pumān asti yo vijeṣyati pāṇḍavam ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา ชัยทรถถูกสังหารแล้ว บัดนี้ยังเหลือสิ่งใดให้เรายึดถือ และเราจะพึ่งพาใคร? ที่นี่มีบุรุษผู้ใดกันเล่าที่จะปราบปาณฑพ (อรชุน) ได้?”
