Kapālamocana-tīrtha (Auśanasa) and Balarāma’s Sarasvatī Pilgrimage
पुण्याहघोषैर्विमलैवेंदानां निनदैस्तथा । देवेषु चैव व्यग्रेषु तस्मिन् यज्ञविधौ तदा,एक समयकी बात है, पुष्करतीर्थमें महात्मा ब्रह्माजीका एक महान् यज्ञ हो रहा था। उनकी विस्तृत यज्ञशालामें सिद्ध ब्राह्मण विराजमान थे। पुण्याहवाचनके निर्दोष घोष तथा वेदमन्त्रोंकी ध्वनिसे सारा यज्ञमण्डप गूँज रहा था और सम्पूर्ण देवता उस यज्ञ-कर्मके सम्पादनमें व्यस्त थे
puṇyāhaghoṣair vimalair vedānāṃ ninadais tathā | deveṣu caiva vyagreṣu tasmin yajñavidhau tadā ||
ครั้นนั้น ในพิธียัญนั้นเอง มณฑลยัญกึกก้องด้วยถ้อยประกาศ ‘ปุณยาหะ’ อันบริสุทธิ์ไร้มลทิน และด้วยเสียงสาธยายพระเวทอันกังวาน. เหล่าเทพทั้งหลายก็เพียรพะวงอยู่กับกิจแห่งยัญนั้นโดยพร้อมเพรียง.
