Saptasārasvata-tīrtha-prasaṅgaḥ | The Saptasārasvata Pilgrimage Account and the Maṅkaṇaka Narrative

वालखिल्या महाराज अभ्मकुद्टाश्न तापसा: | दन्तोलूखलिन श्चान्ये प्रसंख्यानास्तथा परे,महाराज! सरस्वतीके उस निकटवर्ती तटपर सुप्रसिद्ध तपस्वी वालखिल्य, अभ्मकुट्ट, दन्तोलूखलीः, प्रसंख्यानः, हवा पीकर रहनेवाले, जलपानपर ही निर्वाह करनेवाले, पत्तोंका ही आहार करनेवाले, भाँति-भाँतिके नियमोंमें संलग्न तथा वेदीपर शयन करनेवाले तपस्वीमुनि विराजमान थे। वे सरिताओंमें श्रेष्ठ सरस्वतीकी उसी प्रकार शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे, जैसे देवतालोग गंगाजीकी

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่มหาราช ที่นั่นมีดาบสผู้เคร่งครัด—เหล่าวาลขิลยะ เหล่าอภรมกุฏฏะ และผู้อื่นที่เรียกว่าทันโตลูกขลิน ตลอดจนหมู่อีกพวกหนึ่งที่รู้จักกันในนามประสังขยาน”
