Saptasārasvata-tīrtha-prasaṅgaḥ | The Saptasārasvata Pilgrimage Account and the Maṅkaṇaka Narrative

निवृत्तां तां सरिच्छेष्ठां तत्र दृष्टवा तु लाड़ली । बभूव विस्मितो राजन्‌ बल: श्वेतानुलेपन:,राजन! नैमिषारण्यनिवासी महात्मा मुनियोंके दर्शनके लिये पूर्विदिशाकी ओर लौटी हुई सरिताओंमें श्रेष्ठ सरस्वतीका दर्शन करके श्वेत-चन्दनचर्चित हलधारी बलराम आश्वर्यचकित हो उठे

nivṛttāṃ tāṃ saricchreṣṭhāṃ tatra dṛṣṭvā tu lāḍalī | babhūva vismito rājan balaḥ śvetānulepanaḥ ||

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—ข้าแต่พระราชา ครั้นบัลรามผู้ทากายด้วยจันทน์ขาวได้เห็น ณ ที่นั้นซึ่งแม่น้ำสรัสวตีอันประเสริฐหันกลับไปทางทิศตะวันออก ก็เกิดความพิศวงยิ่ง
