Adhyāya 33: Rauhiṇeya (Balarāma) is welcomed and takes his seat to witness the gadā-engagement

शल्यमपद्योद्धरिष्यामि तव पाण्डव हृच्छयम्‌ | निहत्य गदया पापमद्य राजन्‌ सुखी भव,'पाण्डुनन्दन! नरेश! आज मैं गदाद्वारा पापी दुर्योधनका वध करके आपके हृदयका काँटा निकाल दूँगा; अत: आप सुखी होइये

śalyam apadyoddhariṣyāmi tava pāṇḍava hṛcchayam | nihatya gadayā pāpam adya rājan sukhī bhava |

โอ้ปาณฑพ โอ้พระราชา! วันนี้ข้าจะถอนหนามที่ตำอยู่ในพระทัยของท่าน ด้วยการสังหารทุรโยธน์ผู้บาปด้วยคทา; ขอท่านจงเป็นสุขเถิด
