Adhyāya 33: Rauhiṇeya (Balarāma) is welcomed and takes his seat to witness the gadā-engagement
पज्चाला: पाण्डवेयाश्व धर्मराजपुरोगमा: । तद् वचो भीमसेनस्य सर्व एवाभ्यपूजयन्,राजन्! तदनन्तर सात्यकिने पाण्डुपुत्र भीमसेनकी भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की। धर्मराज आदि पाण्डव तथा पांचाल सभीने भीमसेनके उस वचनका बड़ा आदर किया
sañjaya uvāca |
pāñcālāḥ pāṇḍaveyāś ca dharmarāja-purogamāḥ |
tad vaco bhīmasenasya sarva evābhyapūjayan, rājan |
ข้าแต่พระราชา ชาวปัญจาลและโอรสแห่งปาณฑุทั้งหลาย โดยมีธรรมราชยุธิษฐิระเป็นผู้นำ ต่างพร้อมใจกันยกย่องและเห็นชอบถ้อยคำของภีมเสน ครั้นแล้วสาตยกีก็สรรเสริญภีมเสน บุตรแห่งปาณฑุ ซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า ธรรมราชและปาณฑพทั้งหลาย พร้อมชาวปัญจาลทั้งปวง ต่างรับถ้อยคำนั้นด้วยความเคารพยิ่ง
