द्वैपायनह्रदे दुर्योधनान्वेषणम् / The Search for Duryodhana at Dvaipāyana Lake
तमब्रवीत् सत्यधृति: प्रणतं त्वग्रत: स्थितम्
tam abravīt satyadhṛtiḥ praṇataṁ tv agrataḥ sthitam | etad vai kāraṇaṁ sarvaṁ vistareṇa nivedaya ||
แล้วสัตยธฤติ (วิทุระ) กล่าวแก่เขาผู้ยืนอยู่เบื้องหน้าด้วยความเคารพนอบน้อมว่า—“ลูกเอ๋ย จงบอกเหตุทั้งหมดนี้แก่ข้าโดยพิสดาร การที่เจ้ารอดชีวิตมาได้ท่ามกลางการสังหารอันน่าสยดสยองของเหล่ากุรุนั้นเป็นมหามงคลยิ่ง แต่ก่อนที่พระเจ้ายุธิษฐิระจะเสด็จเข้าสู่หัสดินาปุระ เหตุใดเจ้าจึงมาถึงที่นี่ได้ก่อน? จงอธิบายเหตุทั้งปวงโดยละเอียดเถิด”
