द्वैपायनह्रदे दुर्योधनान्वेषणम् / The Search for Duryodhana at Dvaipāyana Lake
वह मन-ही-मन सोचने लगा कि हमारा और इन क्षत्रियोंका जो महान् संहार हुआ है
evaṁ vicintayānas tu pravivekṣuḥ hṛdaṁ nṛpaḥ | duḥkha-santapta-hṛdayo dṛṣṭvā rājan bala-kṣayam ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—เมื่อครุ่นคิดอยู่ดังนั้น พระราชาผู้มีดวงหฤทัยถูกเผาไหม้ด้วยความโศก ครั้นเห็นความพินาศแห่งกองทัพของตน ก็ทรงดำริแน่วแน่ว่าจะเสด็จลงสู่สระน้ำเพื่อหลบซ่อนภายหลังมหาวินาศนั้น
