द्वैपायनह्रदे दुर्योधनान्वेषणम् / The Search for Duryodhana at Dvaipāyana Lake
युयुत्सुरपि तां रात्रि स्वगृहे न्यवसत् तदा । वन्द्यमान: स्वकैश्वापि नाभ्यनन्दत् सुदु:खित: । चिन्तयान: क्षयं तीव्रं भरतानां परस्परम्
sañjaya uvāca |
yuyutsur api tāṃ rātriṃ svagṛhe nyavasat tadā |
vandyamānaḥ svakaiś cāpi nābhyānandat suduḥkhitaḥ |
cintayānaḥ kṣayaṃ tīvraṃ bharatānāṃ parasparam ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—แม้ในคืนนั้น ยุยุทสุยังคงพักอยู่ในเรือนของตนเอง ด้วยความโศกเศร้าอันลึกยิ่ง แม้ญาติพี่น้องจะถวายความเคารพ เขาก็มิได้ยินดี ใจของเขาจมอยู่กับการครุ่นคิดถึงความพินาศอันน่าสยดสยองที่เหล่าภารตะทำลายกันเองจากศึกภายในวงศ์
