sañjaya uvāca | tataḥ kruddhā mahārāja saubalasya padānugāḥ | tyaktvā jīvitam ākrande pāṇḍavān paryavārayan |

Translation

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—ข้าแต่มหาราช ครั้นแล้วบรรดาผู้ติดตามแห่งเสาบละ (ศกุนี) โกรธเกรี้ยวถึงที่สุด ละทิ้งความหวงแหนชีวิต ท่ามกลางเสียงอึกทึกแห่งมหาสงครามก็เข้าล้อมพวกปาณฑพไว้ทุกทิศ
