Educational Q&A

Even forceful hostility can become moghā (fruitless); in the Mahābhārata’s war ethic, outcomes are not guaranteed by intent alone—skill, circumstance, and destiny shape whether violence bears any result.

During the battle, Śakuni throws a large gadā at Sahadeva. The attack misses or fails to harm him, and the weapon falls to the earth, as reported by Sañjaya.
