शल्यपर्वणि प्रथमाध्यायः — Karṇa-vadha-anantaraṃ Śalya-niyogaḥ, Saṃjayasya Dhṛtarāṣṭra-nivedanam

तथाप्येते महाराज रथिनो नृपसत्तम । अक्षौहिणीनां सर्वासां समेतानां जनेश्वर

tathāpy ete mahārāja rathino nṛpasattama | akṣauhiṇīnāṃ sarvāsāṃ sametānāṃ janeśvara ||

ถึงกระนั้น โอ้มหาราช โอ้ยอดแห่งกษัตริย์ โอ้เจ้าแห่งชน—เหล่านักรบรถศึกเหล่านี้ก็ยังชุมนุมยืนพร้อมกัน ประหนึ่งว่ากองทัพอักษৌหิณีทั้งสิ้นได้มารวมอยู่ ณ ที่นั้น
