Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

muditānāṃ vitṛptānāṃ tasmin mahati vaiśase |

sametāni bahūny āsan bhūtāni ca janādhipa ||

Translation

ข้าแต่มหาบพิตร! ณ ที่แห่งมหาการเข่นฆ่านั้น เหล่าภูตผีและสรรพสัตว์อำมหิตเป็นอันมากก็พากันมาชุมนุม ด้วยความยินดีและอิ่มหนำ ราวกับถือเอาความนองเลือดเป็นงานเลี้ยงของตน
