सो<यं नूनमनुप्राप्तस्त्वत्कृते काल उत्तम: । त्वरितं कुरुत श्रेयो नैतदेतावता कृतम्,“तुम्हारे लिये यह निश्चय ही बहुत उत्तम अवसर प्राप्त हुआ है। शीघ्र ही अपने कल्याण-साधनमें लग जाओ। पाण्डवोंको वनवास दे देनेमात्रसे तुम्हारा अभीष्ट सिद्ध नहीं हो सकता
so ’yaṃ nūnam anuprāptas tvatkṛte kāla uttamaḥ | tvaritaṃ kuruta śreyo naitad etāvatā kṛtam ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “เพื่อพวกท่านโดยแท้ นี่คือกาลอันประเสริฐที่มาถึงแล้ว จงรีบกระทำสิ่งที่เป็นประโยชน์แท้จริง เป้าหมายของท่านจะไม่สำเร็จเพียงแค่ส่งเหล่าปาณฑพไปอยู่ป่า (เนรเทศ) เท่านั้น”
