Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how pride in physical power can shape one’s conduct; Vidura’s framing invites the listener to understand Bhīma’s mindset and the ethical risks of acting from self-assured superiority.

Vidura describes Bhīma’s manner of moving/acting, explaining that Bhīma proceeds with the belief that no one equals him in arm-strength, thereby interpreting Bhīma’s behavior for the addressed elder in the royal assembly context.
