दुर्योधनं समासाद्य सामात्यं भरतर्षभ । दुःखारतों भरतश्रेष्ठमिदं वचनमब्रवीत्
duryodhanaṃ samāsādya sāmātyaṃ bharatarṣabha | duḥkhārto bharataśreṣṭham idaṃ vacanam abravīt ||
ไวศัมปายนกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่ผู้เป็นยอดแห่งภารตะ ครั้นเขาผู้ทุกข์ร้อนเข้าไปถึงทุรโยธนะซึ่งนั่งอยู่พร้อมเหล่าอำมาตย์แล้ว ก็กล่าวถ้อยคำนี้แก่ผู้เป็นใหญ่ในวงศ์ภารตะ”
